Respectful and helpful, as shown in our photo, sums up our wonderful netballers.
I was so proud to take the U.13 netball team to the annual London North isa Championships. This is a competitive event with all schools exhibiting high standards of play. The girls had six hard fought matches and never gave up, showing true Park School resilience. They were a delight – respectful to the other teams, myself and the opposition umpires.
The team was captained by Zaida and both she and Joshna were able to score our goals. They were helped by Kaira and Makaila who moved the ball up the court into the attacking circle. Sunaina helped the defending end as did Funmilayo and Dionne who were fantastic in the defending circle.
I normally choose a player of the tournament but I feel that this year was a true team effort and they all deserve the accolade. Well done to you all!
