The Termly Science Question

Last term, the Science Department introduced the termly Science Question Competition to the whole school, so that all students would have the opportunity to consider aspects of Science beyond the taught curriculum.

Students that entered the competition last term presented some rather interesting responses to the question, What if …. The wind did not blow?

A Year 3 pupil highlighted that rain would rarely fall over land. A Year 6 pupil pointed out that wind streams and ocean currents would stop so animals would not be able to migrate.

The question for this term is What if ….. the sea was not salty?

The Science department awaits more interesting facts from the Park School girls.
