Making decisions about the future can be scary, so one of our aims as a school is to help make life a little easier.
As part of our Careers Programme for Years 10 and 11, we help our pupils to apply for their POST 16 courses and Sixth Form establishments. Many Park School pupils have been offered conditional places at some of the best Sixth Forms in East London and further afield for their A-level studies. These include Woodford County High, Seven Kings, Leyton Sixth Form, Bancroft Chigwell and Forest.
Over the years, we have helped our pupils to give careful consideration to which Sixth Forms best meet their academic requirements. The aim is that their chosen Sixth Form will give them a firm foundation to achieve the grades they will need in order to attend their choice of university.
Seven Kings, Havering 6th Form and Woodford County High School have come to Park to speak to our Year 11 students in the hope that our girls might apply to them. This gives girls the opportunity to find out more about these establishments and to ask questions. A booklet has been created to help the girls with the Sixth Form application process, it provides information on registration, application forms, Open Days and references. Within lesson time, we provide information on interview techniques.
