'Pupils have very positive attitudes to learning' - Independent Schools Inspectorate 2022

At Park School we continue to be very proud of the success of our pupils and for the last academic year, 2020-2021, despite facing many challenges brought on by the pandemic, our GCSE results remained consistently high.

Park School pupils consistently over-perform in their GCSE examinations on average by over one whole grade based upon external baseline data (CAT4 by GL Assessments for three years 2019 - 2021).

Exams Analysis August 2021

72% of pupils achieved one or more GCSEs Graded 9 to 8

84% of pupils achieved one or more GCSEs Graded 9 to 7

92% of pupils achieved one or more GCSEs Graded 9 to 6

All pupils passed 5 or more GCSEs at grades 9 – 4, including Maths, English, and a Separate Science. 72% of pupils achieved at least one Grade 9 – 8, 84% of pupils achieved at least one Grade 9 – 7 and 92% of pupils achieved at least one Grade 9 – 6.

Comparing to baseline data, 93% of pupils achieved or exceeded CAT4 predictions in one or more subjects and 75% of pupils exceeded CAT4 predictions in one or more subjects.

The overall value added, the difference between CAT4 Prediction and actual attainment, was +1.2, which means that on average every GCSE grade was over one grade higher than the baseline prediction.

This is an excellent result demonstrating high academic achievement.

Park School is currently ranked 6th nationally for GCSE results
