ISA Netball Championships

On Friday 3rd March girls from Years 7 and 8 took part in the London North U.13 Netball Championship. Despite the wet and cold weather, the girls were a credit to the school, playing some excellent netball. They were a delight to look after, listening well and trying their best at all times. They had a number of games, drawing two, winning one and losing two. They only missed out on one point to reach the semi-finals.

Well done to Donika, Joanna, Unaysa, Savannah, Zara, Hemma, Sophia and Adshaya.

The U11 Netball Team also took part. They played seven games in the first round, drawing two and winning five games. An excellent effort by everyone. The result of the first round led them to the quarter finals. Unfortunately, they lost but definitely not without a fight! They never gave up throughout the game. The girls behaved really well and gave 100% in every game. Well done to every girl who participated.

Team: Joshna, Aleena, Tia, Angelina, Jiya, Aleeza, Marwah and Zahra P.

Particular mention to Year 11 GCSE students Tomiwa and Leah who umpired throughout the tournament. They were amazing and had many positive comments about their ability from other members of staff. Well done to you both.
