Getting Spooky for a Good Cause

This year our Year 11 Charity Committee are raising funds for Silverline. This wonderful charity was chosen by Mrs Smith in memory of our Chair of Governors, Mr Henry Smith.

Silverline provides an invaluable, confidential, free helpline, every day of the year, for older people. The services they offer include: conversation and friendship, information and advice and protection for older people suffering abuse and neglect.

The Year 11 Committee worked with staff to ensure their fund-raising events kept students in their Year Group “bubbles” in order to maintain the social distancing measures we have in place. They rose to the challenge and managed to organise a competition for the best decorated Form Room, Reception to Year 8 had fancy dress competitions and, as always at Park, we had some fantastic snacks, drinks, cakes and savouries on sale.
You can see from the photos that everyone joined in and had a spookily enjoyable day.

The Committee would like say a very big THANK YOU to all of the parents, students and staff who supported this event and made it such a huge success.

We are proud to announce that we will be sending Silverline £907.30!
